Hey Brian,
I am glad to find your website! Our little church (Victory, LaSalle-Peru Illinois) booked SCB back in 78' or 79' I believe. I, among others help set you up in our local high school auditorium. I remember asking if there was anything you needed. You had me run for your secret weapon, Halls cough drops! Aha! I figured out how you hit those high C's!

Seriously, you guys were awesome. I was struck by the humility, since I had several musician friends at the time. Needless to say, ego's were not in short supply! I've always followed your music and enjoyed it. Furthermore, it has encouraged me in some pretty rough patches in this life. Like the words to a George Jones song: "Livin' & Dyin' by the choices I've made", we truly do reap what we have sown. Like the ultimate Father, he loves us unconditionally through it all & tries to teach us. I divorced 7 years ago after 18 years and four children. The loss and destruction of so many things taken for granted was more than I could bear. In those times of course, Jesus is right there to bring us THROUGH IT. Two songs of yours helped me to define & articulate the cry of my soul during that time. "Take another look at me" & Tell me where you are". In that situation, it was imperative that I reached a point of brokenness. When I listened to those songs, it made clear to me how far away I had gotten from him, and the alienation that had grown between myself and four children. Unlike most music of this world, it simultaneously gave me encouragement that restoration is available.

All of that to say thanks Bryan and to acknowledge the fact that you didn't reach the wisdom in these songs without a price. Keep runnin' the race Brother, you're awesome! I'd love to hear from you.

Blessings, Pete Baysingar

Type your message here ...I heard your great "O Love That Wilt Not Let Me Go" on Moody's "Music Through The Night."
I just love your arrangement and singing of it. Do you have a DVD or video, or U tube of your singing that particular song?
I'm a senior citizen.
Thanks. Jeanne

Hi, Bryan,
I have visited your websight many times but this is my first comment. Being a christian that has silently struggled with addictions, struggled with the "negative self tapes" that tell you your no good and worthless. Your music and testimony have been a great gift to me when I'm doing well to get excited and strong in my faith but more so when i get into those places where i grow distant from God because I think i can do it all myself and handle my sin and my addictions. To be honest i have been going through one of the worst times ever and leaving out the gory details it has been oneof the most trying times in my life. One of the things that i continue to cling to is your music and the truth that you share in it. So when you look at cd sales and book sales and get discouraged, know that in this one guys life you have made a difference. Your music and testimony often motivated me to reopened a door i slammed shut between God and myself. Trying to stay out of the the pit - Chuck
