Reading your story is personally meaningful to me - because I saw you in concert the night before. It was New Years' Eve 1989 / New Year's Morning 1990 at the San Jose Civic Auditorium. You were playing with the Econo-Band. Of course, I would have had no idea then - but looking back now, I can only imagine the pain that you were pushing through to minister that night. God bless you as you continue to press forward - sometimes with the wind at your back, and sometimes in your face. God is faithful.

Bryan,
I have been a fan of yours since I first heard you sing as the 'prep act' for Russ Taff at the Brady Theatre here in Tulsa, OK sometime in the early 80's. Frankly, I was much more impressed with you than Russ, even though I do enjoy his music. Anyway, I heard your song "Love Takes Time" on the radio this morning, and it made me feel like I was hearing from an old friend. I am looking forward to your new album - I have most of yours, but not all.
I am praying for your ministry.

I was happy when my brother (Andres Lopez up above in your response section) told me about your page and recent songs. I am younger then my brother and many of your songs were part of my early teen years and I thank God,your songs were a few of the contemporary Christian songs that helped my keep in mind my own father's faith and teachings and examples to me.

The melody and words of the song struck a cord with me immediately as i thought of my young son now and i think of him as he grows and what he sees in and through me. I am glad to to reconnect with you new endeavors. May God bless you, your family, and your ongoing ministries.

I was really touched by the story behind the song, I met you in a concert you had in Bakersfield, Ca back in the 90s, both my brother and I have children now, I can truly identify with this song because my son in now 19. Your ministry in song has been a blessing in my life throughout all of the ups and downs I've experience.

Believe it or not, this is not a morbid post, but the next sentence may give you pause: I sang this song, a capella, holding hands with a dying friend. She was a lovely lady who loved God with all her heart, and He was about to come and pick her up. I'd left her hospital room and this song started pulsing through my mind as I was trudging through the dark hallway. "My heart still beating, beating in my throat" describes the feeling perfectly. I committed to a determined about-face and marched back to her room, took her hands and started to sing... poorly, I might add. Nonetheless, God's presence was in the room. Her spirit was visibly lifted as I think she had a preview of her next walk -- a stroll on the water with Jesus. I still get a lump in my throat remembering.

I thank the Lord for the inspiration to bring those words and that tune to her at that moment. I thank you, Bryan, for putting pen to paper and conveying such a beautiful, inspired scene.

Bryan,
I too am a PPK (pentecostal pastor's kid) with childhood memories that paled significantly when seen as an adult. Dad pastored in many small towns in Montana, Wyoming, Nevada and Northern California...went to 12 schools in 11 years. I love re-living my heritage through your artistic eyes and ears. After 50 years as a pastor, my dad went home to a marvelous reward. Your lyrics are so special to me because I can tell someone else has experienced the same history as me! I own 11 albums and look forward to new releases!
